The Challenge

The client needed a scalable e-commerce platform that could handle thousands of concurrent users while providing a seamless shopping experience. The existing solution was slow, difficult to maintain, and lacked modern features like real-time inventory updates.

The Solution

Built a headless commerce architecture using Next.js for the frontend and Node.js with PostgreSQL for the backend. Implemented real-time inventory tracking using WebSockets, optimized images with Next.js Image component, and added a robust caching layer with Redis. The result was a 60% improvement in page load times and 99.9% uptime.
